Building better
home service companies.

Plus Group builds focused home-service brands on a shared operating platform. We’re starting by proving the model ourselves.

The thesis

Home services don’t need another holding company. They need better companies.

Home services are enormously fragmented. Thousands of small operators are genuinely good at the work — and stuck without the things that make a company durable: strong branding, predictable customer acquisition, recurring revenue, modern software, real operating procedures, financial visibility.

Those things shouldn’t be rebuilt from zero every time a new service company starts. Build the platform once. Improve it while operating real companies. Then deploy it again. The brands stay specialized; the machine underneath them compounds.

Phase 0.5

Before we scale it, we prove it.

Plus Group didn’t start with a pitch deck about consolidating home services. It started with operating one — LawnCheck Landscape, a real crew mowing and plowing Rhode Island’s East Bay since 2021. The problems this platform exists to solve were experienced firsthand, not researched.

Grounds+ is that business redesigned around everything learned: recurring plans instead of one-off jobs, prices on the page instead of callbacks, one crew for the whole year. If the system works there, it becomes the foundation for everything after. That’s why it’s Phase 0.5 — the half-step that has to happen before one.

Prove the system

Turn Grounds+ into the proof that stronger branding, recurring revenue, systems, and professional operations make a better service company.

Repeat

Apply what works to a second category.

+
Compound

Every new company starts on a more mature platform than the last one did.

The model

One connected loop, not six slogans.

  1. Acquire

Bring a property into the ecosystem once.

  2. Recurring relationship

A plan, not a one-off job. The month doesn't start at zero.

  3. Expand

Solve more of the same property's needs over time.

  4. Density

More customers per route mile. Less windshield time, more work done.

  5. Systemize

Turn what works into playbooks and software.

  6. Deploy

Use that infrastructure to start the next company further ahead.

Recurring base revenue
50customers×$260avg monthly plan×7contracted months
≈ $91,000

Current operating target — a model, not a result.

Instead of starting every month at zero, recurring plans create a predictable revenue floor. The base isn’t the whole business — it’s what creates the relationship.

Expand per property

Acquire the property relationship once, then solve more of that property’s needs over time:

Route density

More customers per route mile means less windshield time, more productive labor hours, and easier supervision. The model strengthens as density grows — not just as customer count does.

The platform

Specialized brands above. One machine underneath.

Brand A needs marketing, admin, software, sales, recruiting, and finance. So does Brand B. So will Brand C. Plus Group builds those capabilities once and lets every company draw from them — more operating brands over shared infrastructure means the platform gets more valuable with each one.
